Oda sweater (ENG)
Oda sweater is knitted top down in stockinette stitch, with raglan increases and two slits in the bottom ribbings. It has deep armhole and wide arms. The sweater is designed to be worn from both the right side and the wrong side.
Firstly, stitches are casted on for the polo neck, using Italian cast on. It is subsequently worked in single ribbing. Thereafter, short rows shape the back piece, followed by raglan increases on the yoke. Next, the yoke and sleeves are separated. Each are finished with single ribbings and Italian cast off, while on the body, two slits are knitted. Double knitting is worked in connection to the Italian cast on and cast off.
The length of the sleeves and body can easily be adjusted, and one can choose between a long and a short slit (the black versus the blue sweater).

Choosing size
Oda sweater is designed with a positive ease of 20-30 cm / 8-12’ for sizes XS-L, and successively less for the larger sizes.
Sizes XS (S) M (L-XL) XL-2XL correspond to bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-110) 100-120 cm / 31-5-33.4 (33.4-35.4) 35.4-37.4 (37.4-43.3) 39.4-47.2 inches.
Choose size depending on your bust circumference/where you are widest and on how oversize you want the sweater. If you are in between sizes I recommend choosing the smaller size.
Yarn alternatives
The sweater can be knitted with one fingering thread (27-28 m / 10 cm or 4’) together with one thread Soft fine or Bouclé, both from Isager Yarn. Both sweater versions have a light and soft texture.
Soft fine or Bouclé can be substituted for two threads silk mohair.
The sweater can of course be knitted in any yarn combination, as long as the gauge is correct.
Note that the yarn requirement might change if you choose a different yarn.
